City View Centre 24-HR Daycare

We designed the original City View Centre for Child and Family Services facility in Barrhaven in 2002. It was always a dream of theirs to open a 24-hour facility to offer child care services to those who require it outside regular hours. Their dream became a reality this year when they opened the doors of their new 24-hour facility, which adjoins their existing space.

Alongside Rojo Construction who built the new facility, and Collizza Bruni Architects who designed the new building, we took the interior spaces to the next level. They wanted the longevity and durability of a commercial interior but the comfort of home so children could feel it was their “home away from home”. There are so many fine details in this space and we are excited to share this project with you.
